ReplyDeleteKate - girl who is learning how to crochet (sew) from Mrs. May. Most people thought she was wild and stubborn (self-willed).
Mrs. May - talking to Kate in the beginning about her brother who made things up to impress his sisters, but Mrs. May thought he was telling the truth about the Borrowers.
the boy - Mrs. May's brother was sent to Great Aunt Sophy's house to recover from rhuematic fever in the country where there was fresh air.
Mrs. Driver - servant, lived at Great Aunt Sophy's and did the cooking and cleaning.
